Matsurika Kanriden TV Anime Officially Announced!
The anime adaptation of the Matsurika Kanriden light novel series, written by Ishida Rinne and illustrated by Izumi, has been announced! Following the announcement of the anime adaptation, the series’ author, Ishida Rinne, made a statement.

Thanks to everyone’s support, we decided to make an anime! I’m delighted that we can present Jasmine Official Legend, which we created together with Izumi-sensei, responsible for the illustrations; Takase Waka-sensei, responsible for the comic adaptation; Aoi Mito-sensei, responsible for the comic adaptation of another story set in the same world; and many others who contributed. I am truly grateful. Thank you!

Matsurika, a lady-in-waiting in the imperial palace, has a special talent—an excellent memory. One day, she is asked to act as a practice partner for a nobleman’s arranged meeting, only to discover that her partner is none other than Emperor Hakuyou himself, who wished to try a matchmaking meeting. Impressed by her skill, the emperor unexpectedly tells her to “go pass the imperial examination first.” Thus begins the tale of a girl singled out by the emperor in this Chinese-style Cinderella story.
